Watch Us Play Hitman Episode 5 Live

The fifth instalment in Hitman’s murderous rampage launches on September 27, and we’ll soon be livestreaming all the ways you can turn NPCs into non-playable corpses. Rory Powers and Gav Murphy are back, and this time they’re taking Agent 47 to Colarado – where the springs will soon run red with blood. Actually, that sounded more macabre than intended. But then seeing as these are the guys who dropped a man in a leaf shredder, it’s probably a fair prediction. Bookmark this page and check back at 12PM BST / 4AM PST / 9PM AEST on Wednesday September 28 to see the game in action. Continue reading…

Dark Knight III: The Master Race Extends to 9 Issues

Dark Knight III: The Master Race Extends to 9 Issues

Originally slated for eight issues, the Dark Knight III: The Master Race limited series from DC Comics will extend to a ninth issue because co-writers Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello requested another chapter to tell their story right. “Once you dive into the Dark Knight mythology, it’s hard to pull yourself out. Those characters cannot be contained and neither can we,” Miller said in a statement. “This story turned out to be bigger than the both of us,” Azzarello added. The third entry in the saga that started with 1986’s The Dark Knight Returns and 2001’s The Dark Knight Strikes Again, both written and drawn by Miller, DK3 #1 launched in November 2015 with Azzarello sharing writing duties and Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson on art. The story features Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman teaming up to stop Quar, a renegade Kryptonian priest set free from the bottled city of Kandor along with an army of super-powered followers. Quar also persuades Lara, the daughter of Superman and Wonder Woman, to join his side, so now Batman must find a way to stop them from conquering the world. Continue reading…

Ex-Sony Boss: PS Vita a 'Great Machine' But 'Too Late'

Jack Tretton, the former CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, recently spoke with IGN about his 19-year career at PlayStation and weighed in with his thoughts on the struggles of the company’s most recent handheld, PS Vita. When asked how he feels about the Vita in hindsight on this month’s episode of IGN Unfiltered, Tretton said, “Now that I don’t work there anymore, I think internally it was: ‘This is a great machine, it’s just too late.’ The world has shifted to portable devices that aren’t dedicated gaming machines.” The former SCEA CEO went to highlight the success of Vita’s predecessor, noting that PlayStation Portable was effective in not only bringing console-like experiences to handheld, but also pulling in older gamers.
