Bethesda 'Absolutely' Looking Into Making NX Games

Bethesda 'Absolutely' Looking Into Making NX Games

Though Bethesda Softworks isn’t ready to make a definitive choice one way or the other, the company’s vice president Pete Hines says Bethesda is “absolutely” looking into the possibility of putting its games on Nintendo’s next console, the NX. Hines addressed the possibility of Bethesda’s projects appearing on the NX in an interview with IGN at QuakeCon, noting that Bethesda is talking with Nintendo “all the time” and is aware of what the company is doing. But that doesn’t mean the studio behind Fallout and The Elder Scrolls is ready to immediately jump on development for the NX, though. “Obviously we haven’t put anything out there ,” Hines said. “It’s absolutely something that we’re looking into and we’ll see what comes of it.” Continue reading…

Son of Zorn: How Roger Rabbit and Harry Potter are Inspirations

FOX’s Son of Zorn — from The LEGO Movie/Han Solo Movie’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller — is an inventive, live‑action/animated comedy following a cartoon warrior from a faraway island (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), who faces his most epic battle yet – returning to the O.C. to win back his ex‑wife (Cheryl Hines) and teenage son (Johnny Pemberton). Though Lord and Miller were unable to attend the Son of Zorn panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, executive producers Sally Bradford McKenna (The Grinder), Eric Appel (Silicon Valley), and Reed Agnew (Blunt Talk) were on hand to discuss the mix of live-action and animation and how the world of the show is similar to both Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and the Harry Potter films. Donald Glover Praises Spider-Man: Homecoming Director

Donald Glover recently got to shoot two exciting projects in his home state: the upcoming Sony-Marvel collaboration Spider-Man: Homecoming, and his new FX comedy series, Atlanta. While Glover said shooting Spider-Man in Atlanta was “sort of the icing on the cake,” he admitted he would have committed to the project even if “they were shooting in Colorado.” Glover’s participation in Spider-Man: Homecoming was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con, but little is known about his character in the Jon Watts-directed film. When asked after his TCA panel for Atlanta what he could say about his role, Glover quickly zipped up. “I’m not allowed to say,” he hedged. “Sworn to secrecy.” Continue reading…

Donald Glover Explains Why He Didn't Return to Community

Donald Glover didn’t return for Community’s move to Yahoo Screen for Season 6, and it’s not a decision he regrets. While promoting his new series Atlanta at FX’s 2016 summer TCA press tour presentation, Glover explained why he opted not to reprise his role as Troy in the additional season of Community after its conclusion on NBC. “I just like endings,” he said. “I think everything should have death clauses in them. Humans have death clauses in them. One day Trump is going to die. That’s guaranteed. It’s important that thing end. I’m glad things end because it forces things to progress. I get really frustrated in the world that things could be better but can’t be better because they haven’t died yet.” Continue reading…
